After searching for many months for a good kit bike, I found Jim at JSR. After talking and e-mailing back and forth for a while, it was clear that Jim was the guy to go with. The transaction went very smooth, and I started to receive the parts within about a week.
The fabrication work that Jim does is amazing. His quality is second to none, and I would highly recommend his bikes to anyone that wants to undertake a project like this.
My only challenges were the vendor parts that Jim had to get drop-shipped - the vendors took a very long time to get those to me due to stock issues or back orders. Not Jim's fault, and he worked very, very hard to try and get everything delivered as quickly as possible.
The finished product has been a multiple prize-winning bike. This is solely down to Jim's design, quality of workmanship and attention to detail. The fabricated parts never needed any adjustment to ensure fit - everything fell into place. It was a dream build, and I shall certainly buy from Jim again.
JSR Custom reply: Thank You Gary! Hopefully the backorder situation is improving with additional vendors.

I build custom cars for select clients in my spare time. Back in the fall of 2011, my then thirteen year old son asked if he could do a project of his own. We are very fortunate to have found and restored(both of us together), a wrecked 6000 series Shelby 427 S/C Cobra the winter before. I asked him what he would like to do - "How about we build a Shelby Cobra themed bike to match the Cobra we have?" Well, I let him do all of the research, and we decided upon a JSR Pro-Street complete kit. We recieved the kit just before Christmas of 2011. The quality of Jim's work was very good, with fit and finish being "spot on." This was my son's project, which meant that he was going to do all the work with guidance from me. The only snags we had were some of Jim's vendors having a few of the needed parts back-ordered. This was out of Jim's control and he did everything he could to get the parts to us before our first car/bike show scheduled for the end of March 2012. Long story short, everything worked out, and not only did my thirteen year old son complete the entire bike in his spare time(less than three months), but he won the ISCA's rising star young builder award, best bike of show, and beat out a Discovery Channel's Biker Build-off bike called the "RossMeyer Flyer" built by Jesse Rooke!!! I would highly recommend any of Jim's products/services to anyone with basic mechanical skills and a bit of patience.

Hey I don't normally post feedback or reviews but I ordered & recieved a pair of JSR Custom's 'Predator' apehanger handlebars & am so impressed with the design, quality, & quick arrival that I just had to post a review. For handmade fabricated bars they are unbelievably well built & look even better than I'd hoped. These bars completely made my bike, & made my day. I get complimented all the time on these, I can't say enough good things about my experience with JSR. Thank you very much, I'm sure ill order again from ya all & will be recommending your work to many riders.
